About This Course

In today's digital age, students have access to a plethora of resources at their fingertips, with chatbots being a prominent tool for quick answers. However, true learning involves a deeper engagement and critical thinking that extends beyond pre-packaged solutions. The microMOOC on "Guiding Students to Create Their Own Answers Instead of Using Chatbots" delves into strategies educators can employ to cultivate inquisitiveness and analytical prowess in learners. By encouraging students to derive solutions autonomously, we lay the groundwork for fostering resilient thinkers who are prepared for real-world challenges. Dive in to unlock the potential of next-generation learners.

Completing this short online course the participants will be able to:

  • identify and apply various strategies to promote critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in students, discouraging over-reliance on chatbot-generated solutions;
  • to design learning activities and assessments that encourage students to develop and articulate their own answers, enhancing their comprehension and retention of knowledge;
  • to guide students in understanding the ethical implications and limitations of using chatbots, fostering responsible and discerning digital habits.
