About This Course

"Bioplastics: Sustainable Innovations in STEM Education" is designed for higher education STEM teachers to enhance their understanding and teaching methodologies of bioplastics. This course delves into the science behind bioplastics, their environmental impact, and innovative ways to integrate this knowledge into STEM curricula. Engage in interactive simulations, discussions, and collaborative projects to explore the significance of bioplastics in sustainable development. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate and will be equipped to effectively teach and inspire students about the sustainable future of bioplastics.

Dr. Črtomir Podlipnik

Assistant Professor for Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). More than 25 years of experience in Scientific Computing, Molecular Modelling and Material and Drug Design. Involved in STEM-CPD@Euni project as a co-leader of O4 responsible for developing the open online modules for continuous professional development of STEM teachers at European Universities.


No special requirements. Basic understanding of STEM subjects is advantageous.
