About This Course

This course is designed for teachers of STEM subjects working in higher education institutions. Also, trainee teachers and higher education students thinking about a career in STEM teaching will get valuable information about the online assessment by participating in this course.

In this course, the main features and tools used in the online assessment are described. In addition, the main differences between formative and summative assessment in online education are summarized. Finally, each participant will design a continuous summative online assessment procedure for his/her own course.

This course was developed within the project “STEM Continuous Professional Development at European Universities – STEM-CPD@EUni” co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
